A 3D view and quantities from a floor plan, inside your software

You have price lists, processes and users. ShotPlan provides the verified geometry, the quantities and the 3D view from a DWG, in a documented JSON format. A natural division of tasks, without overlaps.

ShotPlan is in development for pilot projects. Available functions and limits are verified on the agreed use case.

The problem

Every ERP starts from data rebuilt by hand

Floor plans and surveys are still redrawn to obtain rooms, walls and floor areas. Measurements are duplicated between CAD, take-off and quote. ShotPlan structures the floor plan once and makes it readable by your systems.

Geometry module for your product

Rooms, walls with type and state, openings and derived metrics in a stable JSON schema, with identifiers that do not change when the model is corrected.

Quantities ready for the take-off

Floor areas per room, perimeters, wall length and net surface, openings: your ERP applies the price list, ShotPlan provides the numbers.

A 3D view for your users

A viewer in the browser that shows the same model the quantities come from, to help those who cannot read a plan understand a variant.

How the work goes

From the use case to the integration

  1. 01

    Use case and data

We start from your product’s flow: which floor plan comes in, which quantities are needed, who corrects the model.

  2. 02

    Model and schema

We open your DWGs in the viewer, trace the model and check together that the JSON contains what you need.

  3. 03

    Revisions and data schema

Every correction creates a numbered revision; geometry travels in a documented JSON schema, the same as the 3D view.

    In testing
  4. 04

    API and adapter

Projects, geometry and revisions via API with per-customer authorisation, and an adapter that translates into your format: coming with pilot projects.

The pilot project

We start from a concrete case

  1. 01

    We define the problem

Which decision should ShotPlan help to make and who will use the result?

  2. 02

    We agree on the test

We establish the floor plan, the quantities to evaluate, the price list and the success criteria.

  3. 03

    We evaluate the pilot

Scope, conditions and connections with your systems are agreed after the technical check.

Frequently asked questions

Can we integrate ShotPlan via API today?

Not yet: the API for projects, geometry and revisions is coming soon and will be activated with pilot projects, with dedicated credentials. Today you can already work with the 3D view’s JSON export, which uses the same data schema. Interfaces, formats and limits are confirmed before any commitment.

Does our price list stay in our software?

Yes. ShotPlan provides quantities and the 3D view; the price list and pricing rules remain yours. If you want, ShotPlan can apply a configurable price list for a preliminary estimate, shown as such.

Who corrects the model when the drawing is ambiguous?

A person, in the viewer: walls are traced on the CAD lines and every correction creates a new revision. Automation speeds up the work without removing control over the geometry.
